Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Hie Sreylout

Hie Sreylout is an 11-years-old student in 4th grade at The Takatsu Espoir School of Ta Khong village, Trien commune, Kampong Siem district, Kompong Cham porovince.

Sreylout has four siblings, two sisters and two brothers, and she is second child in family. Her parents are farmers but this job doesn’t give enough profit to support this family. So her mother sells groceries in her house to earn money more to support her children’s study. Sreylout has to help her mother to do housework and to sell groceries when her parents are busy in rice field.
