Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Tauk Sreipech

Tauk Sreipech is a 10 years old student in grade 4 at the Wahrenbrock Family School in Takeo province, Koh Andet district, Pech Sar commune, Chong Angkar village.

Sreipech has gotten four members in her family, her parents and two sisters including her. She is the oldest child in her family. Her family is poor and does not have farmland for growing rice. Currently, she is living with her mother at homeland and her father has worked as a day by day laborer in Thailand. For average of supporting the family, her father has sent $90 per month to her mother in order to work out the family’s needs because of her mother hasn’t had enough money or any revenue to patch up the food and school supplies for children’s schooling.
