Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Koch Raksa

Raksa is 11 years old and student in 6grade at the Phnom Toch School in Phnom Toch village Tor Tong commune Dorng Tong district Kampot province.

Raksa has one brother and no sisters. She is lives with her parents. Her farther is worker can earn money 4$ per day and her mother is farmer. Her mother is a farmer and her farmland depends on natural raining only. Her mother can gather six sacks of rice’s production and quantity of one sack of rice is about 300 kilogram.

In her free time, she likes doing homework, house work, reading book and doing exercise. She wants to be a doctor because she wants to earn more money to support her family.
