Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Phoeurng Pop

Phoeurng Pop is an 11-years-old student in 7th at The Kimino Yume Mezaseba Kanau School in Romduol village,Varin commune, Varin District, Siem Reap province.

Pop has four siblings, two sisters and two brothers, and she is second child in family. Her parents are farmers and they own about one hectare and half of farmland. They can earn about $32.5-50 per month from farming. Pop has to help her mother to do housework and to take care of her younger siblings while her mother is busy in field.
