Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Oul Seav Er

Oul Seav Er is an 11-year-old student in 7th grade at The CREDO School in Ang Karnh Village, Metoek Commune, Bakan District, Pursat Province. She lives in Trang Village, Metoek Commune, Bakan District, Pursat Province.

She is the first child and she has only her in her family. Her parents are farmers. They farm on a hectare of land. They work so hard on their rice field and they only harvest 900 Kg per year. Despite of being farmers, her father immigrated to Thailand look for others job to make more income to support family. Her father always sends to family about USD 80 per month to support everyone in family. And her mother does other job as maker cake to make a better income to support family. After school, she helps her mother doing house work and farming. Almost Sunday, she works in farm and she helps mother of selling cakes.
