Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Bros Mengly

Bros Mengly is a 10-year-old student in 4th grade at Kirivorn School in Kirivorn village, Steng Chhay commune, Kompong Seila district, Koh Kong province.

Mengly has three siblings, two sisters and one brother, and she is second child in family. Her father is a construction worker and he can earn $120 per month, if there are works to do. Besides this job, he cuts firewood to sell and he makes profit $2.5 per day. Her mother stays at home. Mengly has to help her mother to do housework and to take care of her younger siblings.
