Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Khoeurt Sreyneang

Khoeurt Sreyneang is a 13-years-old student in 7th at The Kimino Yume Mezaseba Kanau School in Romduol village,Varin commune, Varin District, Siem Reap province.

Sreyneang has two siblings, one sister and one brother, and she is the eldest child in family. Her parents are farmers who own one hectare of farmland. They grow rice and other crops, and they can earn about $50 per month from farming. Sreyneang has to help her mother to do housework every day. Sometimes, she helps her parents in the field to transplant and harvest rice and crops.
