Girls Be Ambitious

A program that enables girls who are unable to go to school due conditions of poverty to attend one of our rural schools and receive an education instead of having to work in the fields, do chores at home or take care of siblings.

Un Sreyneth

Un Sreyneth is an 11-year-old student in 3rd grade at The Kirivorn School in Kirivorn village, Steng Chhay commune, Kompong Seila district, Koh Kong province.

Sreyneth has three siblings, two sisters and one brother, and she is the eldest child in family. Her mother works as a land guard and her salary is $62.5 per month. Her father raise chicken and he can sell every three months; he earns about $50 each time. Besides this work, he cuts firewood to sell and he can get about $7.5. Sreyneath has to help her mother to do housework and to take care of her younger siblings.
