Sam Kompheak is a fifth grade student at The Janna Roeters (2000-08-25) School

He is fifteen years old. His parents are farmers. In one year, they produce from three to five tones of rice, but can only farm in the dry season. Kompheak has two brothers and three sisters. He walks to school every day with his sister, who also attends the school. The walk takes five minutes.

On the new building: It’s nice and new. It makes it easier to learn in. I am no longer worried that the rain will make me wet. In the old building, I would get wet a lot.

Going to school: I like walking to school every day. I go to school from seven to eleven in
the morning.

On his spare time: In my spare time I help my parents carry water to put in the water jar. I also help them boil rice. I help them because I don’t want them to get tired. I want to do my part. When I don’t help my parents, I like to play soccer. I play with my neighbor around his house. I also read.

In the future: I want to be a doctor and help the sick.

If he could do anything: If I could be anything, then I could be a doctor, couldn’t I!
