The Wahrenbrock Family School.
Mr. Hing Pon is the 31-year-old director of Wahrenbrock Family School. He has four sons; the oldest attends 7th grade and the second is in 1st grade of a primary school near his house. His house is about 7 kilometers from the Wahrenbrock Family School and he rides a motorbike to the school every day.
“Before I became a teacher I had to study pedagogy for two years at the teacher’s school in Kandal province. After the teacher’s school, I was assigned to teach at the Prek Sa primary school that located in Takeo province. I was just appointed the director of the Wahrenbrock Family School in 2004.”
“I am very happy with the new concrete building that will overcome flooding that always stricken this area during the rainy season. On the other hand, I am so glade that the school is a special one because it has a computer and English lessons, even e-mail and Internet is linked to the school by a satellite dish uplink to the world.”
