In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building:  “I am happy to study in this new building and I hope that it will last for a long time so that my younger brothers and sisters can also study in it.  The new school has a red tile roof, but my old school had no roof; we studied under the trees.”

On school subjects:   “Mathematics is my favorite subject.  I don’t like applied sciences.  It’s not difficult, but I am not interested in it.”

On her future: “I will only graduate from primary school because my father is poor.  He cannot support me if I continue studying.  If I have the chance, I will go to high school and then become a teacher.  I would like to be a teacher because I want to teach children.”
