Ken Neng lives in the village by the John Coats School.

She is fourty-nine years old. For a living, she works in the rice fields, and also sells a few small things, such as milk, sugar, onion, garlic, etc. She has three children: one boy and two girls. One of the daughters goes to the John Coats School, while the other works in a factory. Her son is married.

On the new building: The new building is made of concrete. It is a building the children would like to learn in. The old building was old and falling apart. There were many holes in the roof. When it rained, it was difficult to for the children to learn. With the new building, the children like to learn.
