The Komprang Nippon

Foundation School

Mr. Nhoung Nhang is a forty-one year old farmer in the village
where the Komprang Nippon Foundation School
is located.

On himself: “I have three children who study at the new school. Altogether I have one daughter and four sons. My house is one kilometer away from the school. Me and my wife sell chocolate and candy at the school.”

On the new building: “I am very happy to live here with a new school building built by the Nippon Foundation so that my children can learn in it. The school provides children with education. And with education, they can make money from any job they want. I think that the Nippon Foundation has given the greatest help for development in my village.”

On his family: “I have only lived in this village for two years. Before, I lived in Kandal province. Because we were poor and without any land to cultivate, my family and I left Kandal province for this village. Now I have two hectares of rice patties.”
