(August, 2001)

In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building:  “I am happy to go to the new building because it is spacious and not crowded like the old building.”

On school subjects: “I like mathematics most, because I like doing the exercises.  I got a 10/10 mark in mathematics at the end of the second semester.  I don’t like applied science because I get bad grades in that subject.”

On his hobbies: “I like playing football and volleyball.  I also just started studying English a few days ago.  I want to go to England because I like the English language.”

On his future: “When I grow up I want to be a teacher, because as a teacher, I can teach children and I want more Cambodian people to gain knowledge.  Because of education, people can earn money and become rich.”

Message for the donors: “I would like to thank Jeremy Brest and Mr. and Mrs. Iris Brest for building a school for me to study in and I wish them happiness forever.”
