The Miki Group Cattleya School

Mr. Loeuy Thil is a fifty-three years old villager. He is also Tom Puon. He has three children, and they are all married.
He has a grandson studying at the new school.

On the community:

“Most of the villagers in my village are short of food because they lack draught animals to plow their rice fields. My family has two hectares of rice fields and last year, they yielded 2.5 tons of rice. With this amount of rice, I cannot feed my family for the whole year so that my family has to sell pigs or cows to raise enough money for food.

On the new building:

“Before the new school was built, the villagers were not happy with the school. They didn’t want to send their children to school because it lacked desks for the student. Now that we have a new and beautiful concrete building, the villagers are happy with the school and are glad to send their children to study there. I want my grandson to get educated, for I think that with a good education he will not meet with difficulties and can steer his life onto a better path.”
