Foundation School

(October, 2001)

Mrs. Cheng Leng is a villager living near the Rokar Thom Nippon Foundation School.

In Their Own Words. . .

On her family: “I am a Khmer noodle seller.  I have four daughters at this school.  One is in fifth grade, another is in second grade and two are in first grade.”

On the new building: “I know that my children like the new building because they like going to school now that it is open.  I think that the building has improved the village because all the villagers are happy to send their children to school.”

On the future of her children: “I don’t know how far my daughters will get in school, but I know it is important for them to learn as much as possible.”
