Chun Kem Vong, a third grade student  (Mar, 2001)

Chun Kem Vong is in the third grade at The Tokunori Morisaki School Number Two.  She is 11 years old, and her home is 500 meters from the new school.

In Their Own Words. . . 

on the new building: “I like the new building because it is clean and has pictures inside.  I didn’t like the old building because the roof leaked when it rained and it was difficult to sit in.”

 

on her family: “My younger brother is 10 and in 2nd grade in the same building.  My other younger brother and sister are too young to go to school.  My father is a farmer but he fishes also.  My mother is a housewife.”

 

on school subjects: “I like Mathematics because it’s easy to calculate, and I don’t like Social Science because it’s hard.”

 

on her hobbies “I like to plant flowers and help my parents when I have free time.”

 

on her future: “I want to be a seamstress in the future.”
