Chun Kem Vong is in the third grade at The Tokunori Morisaki School Number Two. She is 11 years old, and her home is 500 meters from the new school.

| on the new building: | “I like the new building because it is clean and has pictures inside. I didn’t like the old building because the roof leaked when it rained and it was difficult to sit in.”

| on her family: | “My younger brother is 10 and in 2nd grade in the same building. My other younger brother and sister are too young to go to school. My father is a farmer but he fishes also. My mother is a housewife.”

| on school subjects: | “I like Mathematics because it’s easy to calculate, and I don’t like Social Science because it’s hard.”
