Danith is a 13 years old students in the 7th grade at The Cambodia Hope School in Melum village, Melum commune, Boribo district, Kompong Chhnang province.
Danith lives in a poor family and she has two siblings, one brother and one sister and she is the third child in the family. Her father name is Sorm Sarin and her mother’s name is Mut Srie. They are farmers. They have own farmland for a hectar for growing rice. Her family produces 1000kg of rice per year and they are selling for 500kg and get 125$ for support their living but it stil not enough. Additionally, her father work as a construction worker, earning 20,000R Riels a day.
Danith is a good daughter and she always willing to help her family to do house work and friends to explain the lesson.
Danith wants to become a Khmer teacher when she grows up, so she can share her knowledge and teach the children in her community.
