Ry Davan is a 12-year-old student in the 6th grade at the Cambodia Hope School in Melum village, Melum commune, Baribour district, Kampong Chhnang province . Davan has five members in her family, mother and four sisters including her. Bora is the fourth child in her family. Her father’s name is Pheng Thul and he is 45 years old and He is a farmer but her father was divorced with he mother since she was young but he still support his children utill they are growing . Her mother’s name is Noem Nei and she is 44 years old. She is a widow and during rainy season her mother go to rice field to catch shells, crabs and fishs and get 1,5000 Riel in a day and after raining season she goes to work as a mangoes picker and get 5$ in a day to support her family to buy food and school supplies of her children. They are living in a poor family and hard situation.
Davan is good student and daughter. She works hard in class, and when she is not studying, she is helping her mother with housework.
In the future she wants to become a teacher. She wants to share her knowledge and teach the children in her commune. Moreover, she wants to earn money to support her family.
