Chon Thot is an eight-year-old first grade student at the Aeon Bougainvillea School. He is the oldest of three children and his parents are farmers.
In Their Own Words. . .
| On the new building: | “I like the new building because it is pretty.”

| On school subjects: | “I like mathematics and Khmer because I want to be able to write and be smart.”

| On his future: | “I want to go to secondary school because then I can get a good job and be clever. I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up; I could do anything.”
