The Ronal Winston School

(September, 2001)

Mr. Sok Na is a farmer living close to the school.  He has two sons studying at the school.

In Their Own Words. . .

On the effect of the new schools:  “I like this new building because it is new and clean and will last at least one generation.  I think that this new building will improve the village because we are very poor and this will help our children get educated and find jobs.  The villagers always wanted to get a new school building, and now we have it.  They say it is like winning the lottery.”

On the future of his sons: “I want them to finish so that they can get good jobs.  I’m not sure what’s important for them to know, but I would like them to be doctors in the future.”

Message for Ronald Winston:  “I would like to thank you very much for helping us build these two new school buildings”
