Mr. Nou Chan lives in Boeung Khlaing Khang Keth village where The Tokunori Morisaki School is located. He is 52 years old.
In Their Own Words. . .
on the new building: | “I am happy with the new building. I have never seen a strong concrete building before, and I thought that I would not see one before I die.”

on his livelihood: | “I am a farmer. I am also an assistant in Khmer marriage ceremonies. For this, I can get 50 to 100 Baht (US$2.20) per ceremony.”

on his family: | “I have three sons and a daughter. My eldest son is 29 years old, married, and a farmer. My next sons are twins. They are both 16 and are in the fifthh grade in the new building. My youngest daughter is 11. She is also in third grade at the new school.”

On the future of his children: | “I hope my children will be teachers in the future because they have told me this is their goal.”
